Hastelloy C276 & C22 Details & Specifications
- Alloy C-276 (UNS N10276) Fasteners is an austenitic nickel-molybdenum chromium alloy with a small addition of tungsten. It is one of the premier corrosion resistant materials available for process industries. Alloy C-276 Nut Bolts has excellent corrosion resistance in both oxidizing and reducing environments.
- The combination of the high molybdenum and chromium content, along with the addition of tungsten, makes Hastelloy C-276 Fasteners highly resistant to chloride stress corrosion cracking, pitting, crevice corrosion and general corrosion.
- Alloy C276 Fasteners exhibits excellent resistance to pitting, stress corrosion cracking and to oxidizing atmospheres up to 1 900 °F (1 038 °C). Alloy C276 and Alloy C22 Fasteners also has excellent resistance to corrosion by seawater especially under crevice conditions which induce attack in other commonly used materials
- Alloy C22 Fasteners belongs to the group of highly corrosion-resistant nickel chromium-molybdenum tungsten alloys. Alloy C22 Bolts and Nut are characterized by excellent resistance to oxidizing and reducing media, even at elevated temperatures.
- A special feature of Alloy C22 Fasteners is its high resistance to crevice, pitting, and stress corrosion cracking at elevated temperatures under oxidizing and reducing conditions.
